Jim Mott was born and raised in Swarthmore, Pa. He
moved to Rehoboth Beach in 2003 where he lives quietly
with his dog and two cats. He has been working with
the camera, which until recently was purely a
documentary tool, to develop a collection of landscape
and still life images which attempt to evoke the quiet
and peaceful nature of coastal living. In addition, his latest series "Beach Patrol: A Celebration of Youth, Beauty, and Strength" has been receiving much attention and critical praise. A sample of this work can be seen here.
Jim’s work can currently be viewed at Gallery 50 and Kennedy
Gallery in Rehoboth Beach, Packard Reath Gallery in Lewes, as
well as a few selected works at the Rehoboth Art League
.
